The Christmas lights have been put up in the town centre and from what we saw this morning so have the winter parking prices.
The winter parking charges are often less than those that locals pay during the summer time.
However this year those winter parking charges are on the rise.
Car Parking Charges in Torbay – Winter 2018/2019

Short stay (maximum of 3 hours covering from 8am to 6pm)

Comparing these car parking charges to those of the summer there isn’t much difference.
New options have been added including a 6 hour ticket, but Torbay Council have also removed the 30 minute stay and the 1.5 hour stay options.
A 24 hour ticket in a long stay car park will now cost you £2 less than in the summer.

There has been no changes for commercial vehicles.
As always car parking permits are available if you do want to save a few pennies at the meter.
The new car parking charges came into force on the 1st November and will be with us until the Summer 2019.
