Over 58,000 clear & Simple Pregnancy Tests are being recalled in the UK alone, after it was found that the kits were delivering false positive results.
A concerning result for anyone planning or not planning to have a baby just yet.
Clear & Simple Pregnancy kits that are numbered DM10220170710E and have an expiry date of January 2020 are affected and should not be used.
The news comes as Guangzhou Wondfo Biotch, the company responsible for the manufacture of the tests, recalls the units.
What to do if you have a Clear & Simple Pregnancy Kit?
If you’re found to have a faulty Clear & Simple Pregnancy test, simply return the item to your place of purchase to obtain a new one.
The new one will be free of that particular consignment batch number and expiry date and will provide you with a true reading.
If you have already used one of these kits and the result came back positive, it may be worth speaking to your GP or Doctor to get a professional result.
