We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to develop social enterprise opportunities within a prison setting and for offenders on release.
Social Enterprise Development Officer
Based: Devon or Dorset
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
The appointed person will be responsible for identifying, researching and implementing social enterprise opportunities within EDP criminal justice work in prisons and for prisoners recently released. You will explore options for increased partnership working with key stakeholders whilst being involved in specific enterprise development project work. You will also support EDP service users and offenders in custody with developing social enterprise projects.
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant qualification and proven experience in social enterprise development and the delivery of social enterprise/business start-up advice and training. You will also have experience of building and managing positive relationships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for a confident and proactive individual, who has excellent organisation and communication skills and is able to work effectively as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
